Mary J. Blige has sold over 50 million records in her career, but she appears to be having serious financial problems as of late.
TMZ is reporting that the state of New Jersey has hit the singer with a tax lien of $901,769.65 for unpaid taxes.. This latest news comes on the heels on Bank of America suing Blige for defaulting on a $500,000 loan earlier this month.
The 9-time Grammy winner and her husband were also sued by Signature Bank in November 2012 for defaulting on a $2.2 million dollar loan. And in May 2012 the singer's charity, Mary J. Blige and Steve Stoute Foundation for the Advancement of Women Now was sued by TD Bank over a $250k loan it took out back in June 2011.
We hope all of this gets cleared up soon
