1. Where are you from, and what made you pursue a career in television?
I'm From Detroit MI, with a little southern roots. What made me purse television was the creativeness that's with it. I was able to express myself and feel free. The history of film is special.
2. Did you grow up in entertainment?
No I didn't grow up in entertainment. My family loved all genres of film and music.
3. What about you sets you apart from other actresses in the business?
What sets me apart from those in the business is that I'm a natrual. I take time to really break down and study what's in front of me and connect to real life. I'm just myself.
4. What was your childhood experience like?
My childhood I can't complain. I come from hustlers but sweet loving people. I was an only child but was never alone so It was cool.
5. Have you traveled outside of the US to pursue your career?
No but I'd like to travel soon.
6. Who are your influences?
My influences are Ruby Dee, Angela Bassett, Denzel W, Dorothy Dandridge, Diahann Caroll, Halle berry to name a few.
7. Are there other actors you would like to work with in the future?
Yes. I'd love to work with Issa Raye, Sanna Lathan, and anyone from Saturday night live.
8. What is next for you?
What's next for me is more projects and owning new businesses. I enjoy manifesting.
9. Do you have any advice for upcoming creatives?
My advice to any creative in the business is always stay true you. Find that one niche that you know you really enjoy and stick to it. It will open doors for everything else.
