The Mississippi Delta has been know for having the first
sounds of Blues music. Clarksdale, Mississippi is said to
be the original birthplace forming in the 19 century. Africans
say Timbuktu is the birthplace of the blues. Clarksdale is
just West of Cleveland, Ms.
