Video After The Jump
Iggy Azalea has accused ex-boyfriend Jefe Wine of stealing data, including unreleased master recordings from her computer in 2009, when the two were dating.
Iggy filed a federal lawsuit in California against Wine in September. She alleges that the rapper, real name Maurice Williams, illegally released an EP entitled Inizio earlier this year, which contained material pilfered from her computer.
Iggy's lawyer fired off a cease-and-desist letter in August successfully removing the EP from all retail outlets. Wine argued that he has a contract with the Australian rapper giving him the rights to release all music and videos recorded during his time with her. That material includes a sex tape that may or may not ever see the light of day.
The signature on the contract is a forgery, according to Iggy's camp.
Meanwhile, Wine has asked to have the upcoming trial moved from L.A. to his hometown of Houston. Iggy wants that request rejected. The "Fancy" hit maker says she fears for her safety if the trial is moved to H-Town because her ex is "vindictive and violent" and would be in his comfort zone at home, according to TMZ.
We'll update the story once a judge hands down a ruling.
