Video After The Jump
Iggy Azalea seemed to succumb to the constant criticism she's received as of late when she announced that she was taking a break from social media. During a recent conversation with Zach Sang & the Gang the Australian rapper said that it's tough when people in the media that she has personal relationships with jump on the bandwagon of haters just to get ratings.
"It's very frustrating for me with them because I'll have personal relationships outside of the media that people maybe don't understand. Or realize how deep that goes. And so then I find it particularly offensive when they kind of, I think oftentimes take on the general opinion of others or the viewership to try to get clicks."
At the end of the day the "Fancy" hit maker is able to shake off the hate because she believes deep down they respect her craft.
"It's fine...Hip Hop is tough. It's a tough world out there for rappers," Iggy acknowledged. "I'm in the sweet spot now. [My critics] know deep down, they just don't want to admit it. That's what I think. I think that's why they're man because they do know that I actually am good."
