Pics After The Jump

Iggy Azalea has been turning a lot of heads as of late. From the title of her forthcoming debut album, The New Classic, her split from ex-boyfriend A$AP Rocky, the way she gets on her knees and twerks better than Miley Cyrus could ever dream about and her looks.

Born in Australia, Iggy headed to the United States at age 15 determined to make a name for herself in hip hop and hasn't looked back since.

She graces the cover of the October issue of Paper Magazine. The Grand Hustle affiliate had a lot to talk about. Check out an excerpt from her cover story.

On Miley Cyrus twerking:

"I've been doing that onstage for two-and-a-half years. She probably f*cking watched my videos online and decided to try it."

On challenging her back up dancers to a twerk-off:

"People just wanna see my butt. We'd been doing that dance-off at the shows, but no one put it online. At the Bowery, they did."

On her relationship with T.I.:

"T.I.'s family. I'll always be loyal to him."

On opening for Beyonce on an upcoming trek through Australia:

"It'll be weird when my parents are there. Not because of the dancing or the sexuality, but because they created me. There will be fans screaming for me, but my parents know the real side of me. The side that's not cool."

On her move the the U.S.:

"I just knew that this is where hip-hop is from. And all I wanted to do is become a rapper. I had to be in the States."

On picking up guys:

"I have to approach them. It's so annoying. I think I must have a bitchy face, because guys don't want to talk to me. It's true, I have a mean face."

On the perception that she's more of a model than rapper:

"It pisses me off that my iTunes biography says I'm a 'model-turned-rapper.' I was never a model before. Why do people have it in their stupid f*cking fantasies that I was a model? I would've loved to have been a supermodel, but I can't f*cking fit the sizes. I'm a six, not a zero."

On her debut album The New Classic:

"Oh, these new songs are about loads of stuff. If I wrote these songs at the beginning of my career, they'd be about ass cheeks. All the songs. Now only one song's about ass cheeks -- out of sixteen. That's growth right there."

On A$AP Rocky:

"We're still friends, but I don't have the need to talk to him anymore."
