IAmYungReef was born in Monrovia, Liberia and raised in Philadelphia, where two very different worlds helped shape his sound and story. From a young age, music became his escape, his passion, and his voice. By the age of twelve, he was writing original songs; by sixteen, he was recording his first tracks, chasing the dream that would soon define him.
