Hundreds of "Soul Train" fans displayed their best dance moves Saturday (February 4) in New York's Times Square in memory of Don Cornelius.
Fans sported bell bottoms and wigs. A few even brought out their children as they transformed Times Square into a "Soul Train" dance line.
"Don Cornelius brought soul to the whole world," Ramona Hamm, 37, who came to Times Square with her 9-year-old daughter, Kayla Charles told Billboard.
The event lasted about 45 minutes before police broke up the party.
Cornelius died last week at the age of 75.
