Video After The JumpWe've all witnessed the unfortunate situation DMX has found himself in lately. Numerous arrests, problems with drugs. Still Dark Man X continues to work on his music career, hoping to get it back to where it once was.
Despite what many people think, X has still got it lyrically. His recent collaboration with Swizz Beatz & Busta Rhymes on "Yall Don't Really Know" is vintage DMX.
One person who thinks he can help X get back on his grind is one of his former artists Young Berg.
In a recent interview with Mikey T The Movie Star, Berg claims to have hit records ready to go for X.
"X is one of them dudes that's crazy with it. I really wanna be able to work with X and give him one of these hit records, I really wish I could," Berg said.
Berg said that people don't realize how far he goes back with X. He claims to have been in a bidding war between Roc-A-Fella Records and X's Bloodline imprint when he was 15-years old. And considers X a mentor of his.
Now that he has his own Yung Fly Movement, he wants to help Dark Man get back on his feet musically.
What do you guys think, does Young Berg have anything to offer a legend like DMX?
