Hanna Shanar, stage name Hanzo, was born on August 8 1998 in Houston, Texas- home to many well-established and popular musicians, such as Travis Scott. Hanna actually attended high school at Lawrence E. Elkins High School in Missouri City, Texas, the exact same high school as Travis Scott. Similar to Scott, Shanar is from Houston's surrounding areas and has a deep appreciation for music. Hanna began his music inclination when he was a young boy and played the guitar and piano. He even played the guitar in a talent show in 8th grade with some friends. As Hanna grew, he never fully committed to his music in passion, because he knew he had other callings. Hanna went to the University of St. Thomas in Houston, Texas, and graduated with a biology degree in 2020. He went to continue his education at Nova Southeastern University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, where he is currently a medical student and training to be a doctor. Needless to say, Hanna has a passion for helping others, which is part of the reason that Hanna began his record label Rap Group Management. Rap Group Management is a multi-thousand following record label overseen by Hanna Shanar. Stage name “Hanzo”, Hanna is the first signed artist under Rap Group Management and is officially a musician for the label. He dropped a six trap EP under the album name Homeostasis across all platforms. His verified Spotify artist page has reached over 10k followers, and currently has almost 30,000 streams on only ONE track, “Illuminate”. Hanzo’s album dropped only 5 days ago, and he is already on track for 300k+ streams within the next two months, which is pretty solid for a first drop musician. Hanna Shanar is a musician who produces quality instrumentals focusing on the appreciation of multiple instruments coming together to provide for a lo-fi and melodic sound that aims to relax and soothe the mind of his listeners.
