Michael Vick continues to give back to the community in a big way. The Philadelphia Eagles quarterback is in Washington D.C. speaking to Rep. John Lewis from Georgia about a program called Team Freedom Outreach.
The program relies on Christian volunteers to help mentor incarcerated youth and play sports with them. Some of the kids as young as 12 haven't had a visitor in 16 months or longer.
The program's hope is that the youth will emerge from incarceration and be able to get their lives back on track as a result of the positive encouragement they receive.
"Team Freedom Outreach gives them positive mentorship. It shows these kids that somebody cares. It helps them make a plan," Vick told TMZ.
