GFNTV was stationed outside of the City of Ferguson Police Department for Mondaynight’s grand jury decision of “no indictment.” GFNTV’s uncensored footage captures the intensity of the night while offering insight into the crowd’s mixed demographic and varied emotional state. Prior to the decision, protestors shared their expectations, voiced opinions and opened up about their level of involvement. After the verdict, GFNTV followed the crowd as they expressed their frustration.
GFNTV is a St. Louis based outlet which has deep rooted community ties. Over the past few days the outlet has spoken with many members of the St. Louis community—from residents and visiting protestors to leaders, including: Adolphus Pruitt (President, St. Louis Chapter of NAACP), Captain Ron Johnson (Missouri Highway Patrol), Ben Crump (Civil Rights Attorney) and Tony Russell (Co-Founder, Hands Up United).
