Although Chris Brown is not a Blood gang member he often uses slang terms and throws up hand gestures representing the Fruit Town Pirus.
According to TMZ, he does so with the blessing of the gang because he's done a number of things to show his loyalty to them.
The singer has helped the Compton, California economy by hiring some of the gang members, has donated thousands of pairs of shoes to local kids, shot a music video there and comes through the hood to hang out.
While it's commendable that Chris is giving back to a community that needs it, one has to wonder if it's wise of him to be associating with gang members given his current legal problems.
