Frank Ocean and his father probably won't be inviting each other over for holiday gatherings anytime soon.
TMZ reports that Calvin Cooksey has filed a defamation lawsuit against his son for claiming that he is homophobic.
Ocean, born Christopher Edwin Breaux, made a Tumblr post in the wake of the June 12, 2016, mass shooting that claimed the lives 49 people inside Pulse, a gay nightclub in Orlando.
The singer recalled an incident from his childhood in which his father allegedly used a gay slur.
"I was 6 years old when I heard my dad call our transgender waitress a faggot as he dragged me out of a neighborhood diner saying we wouldn't be served because she was dirty," Ocean wrote.
Cooksey says the incident never happened and is taking his son to court. He is seeking $14.5 million in damages.
Ocean revealed that he was gay in 2012.
