SOUTHWEST MIAMI-DADE, FLA. (WSVN) - Police have made an arrest after four people were shot at a party in Southwest Miami-Dade.
Police arrested 30-year-old Alfonzo Amaker. He appeared before a judge, Monday morning.
He is charged with second-degree attempted murder.
If he is granted bond, he will be placed on house arrest.
The victims are a 4-year-old girl, 6-year-old boy, their 28-year-old mother & 42-year-old man.
“Whenever one person gets shot, it’s something that as a community, it not only angers me, but it breaks my heart,” Detective Angel Rodriguez said. “And when you add the component of children, innocent children, to this type of tragedy, it takes it to a whole new level.”
The family was celebrating their grandmother’s birthday when an argument escalated.
The victims are all recovering in the hospital & are expected to be OK.
