James "Jimmy Henchman" Rosemond was hit with 13 felony charges yesterday (July 6) for his role in running a cocaine ring that prosecutors says raked in $10 million annually.
The indictment charges Rosemond with occupying a “supervisory and management position” in a continuing criminal enterprise that trafficked cocaine from January 2007 until Rosemond was caught after being on the run for a month. In addition to cocaine distribution and possession, the head of Czar Management is facing conspiracy, money laundering, and obstruction of justice counts.
The government is also looking to seize millions in property owned by Rosemond.
Allhiphop reports that IRS plans to seize Rosemond's $1 million dollar condominium on the Hudson River in Manhattan, as well as a luxury condo in Belltell Lofts in Brooklyn worth $2.6 million.
The Smoking Gun reports that the 21-page indictment does not mention Tupac Shakur's 1994 shooting.
Last month an inmate by the name of Dexter Isaacs admitted his role in the shooting. Saying he was paid by Rosemond to shoot the rap star at a recording studio in Manhattan.
