Fabolous is facing up to 10 years in prison for his alleged assault on the mother of his two children, Emily B, according to XXL.
The "Can't Let You Go" hit maker has been formally charged with one count each of aggravated assault and making a terroristic threat. Both are third-degree felonies. Fabolous is staring at three to five years in prison and a maximum fine of $15,000 dollars for each charge, if found guilty.
As we previously reported, Fabolous, born John David Jackson, turned himself in to police in Englewood, New Jersey Wednesday, March 28, He was cited and was given a ticket to appear in court later this month. The rapper is accused of punching Emily seven times in the face, knocking out several teeth.
Video later surfaced showing him arguing with Emily, her father and brother. At one point the Brooklyn, New York native tells the father he has a gun "with bullets with your name on them."
