Lost in the controversy of the plot to kill North Korean leader Kim Jong-un in the new comedy, The Interview, is a cameo by Eminem in which he admits he's gay.
In the scene Slim sits down for a chat with tabloid show host Dave Skylark (James Franco). He shocks Skylark when he comes out of the closet.
“When I say things about gay people, or people think my lyrics are homophobic — it’s because I’m gay,” he says to Skylark. "I’m more shocked that people haven’t figured it out yet; I mean, it’s kind of like I’ve been playing gay peek-a-boo. I’ve pretty much just been leaving a breadcrumb trail of gayness.”
