Video Game Powerhouse, Activision, is tapping Hip-Hop mogul Jay-Z and Detroit lyricists Eminem to release an extended pack of music to add to their turntable-focused interactive game, DJ Hero.
Beginning March 18, gamers turned DJs will be able to mix, scratch and battle with a new “Jay vs. Eminem Mix Pack,” featuring exclusive mash-ups such as Eminem's "Shake That" mixed with Jay's "Show Me What You Got"; Em's "Without Me" mixed with Jay's "Encore"; and Jay's "Can I Get A..." mixed with Em's "Lose Yourself."
“The Jay and Eminem Mix Pack,” the follow up to the Jay-Z and Em inspired “Renegade Edition,” drops in the Xbox Live Marketplace on March 18, and in the Playstation Store and Wii on March 25.
Additionally, Activision has already released an "Extended Mix Pack 01" which features: 50 Cent 's "All Of Me" mixed with Queen's "Radio Ga Ga"; and Gorillaz's "DARE" versus Public Enemy's "Can't Truss It"
Those additions are a follow up to "David Guetta Mix Pack 01," which contains remixes of tracks like "When Love Takes Over" featuring Kelly Rowland, the chart-topping "Sexy Chick" featuring Akon, and "On The Dance Floor" featuring will.i.am and apl.de.ap of the Black Eyed Peas.
Both “Extended Mix Pack 01” and “David Guetta Mix Pack 01” are available in the Xbox Live Marketplace, and on the Playstation Store.
The DJ Hero "Renegade Edition" is out now. It includes a copy of the game, a premium "Renegade" turntable controller, hard-shell turntable carrying case that converts to a performance-ready DJ stand, and an exclusive Jay-Z and Eminem 2-CD pack featuring "best of" and new, unreleased material.
