Drake is going to have to put his lawyers to work to fight off a lawsuit filed against him by a jeweler who claims the rapper made knockoffs of an owl pendant that was designed specifically for him.
Michael Raphael of Baden Baden Inc. jewelry company was commissioned by Drizzy to make the pendant in January for $49,204, according to TMZ.
BBI claims in the lawsuit that the YMCMB rapper took his original design and had copies of the jewelry made for his crew.
Drake, real name Aubrey Graham, has been using an owl logo for years for his October's Very Own brand. It can be found on various OVO merchandise including t-shirts, jackets, hats and hoodies.
BBI is suing for copyright infringement. They want knockoffs of the owl pendant handed over and are seeking unspecified damages.
This is the second lawsuit filed by Raphael against Drake within the last month. He sued the rapper in August for unpaid stylist fees and additional purchases made on his behalf, totaling $76,490.
