Reaction to Oakland rap newcomer Kreayshawn has been mixed among fans. She has gotten just as much attention for her White Girls Mob use of the n-word, as she has for her breakout single "Gucci Gucci." But within the industry she has been getting major co-signs. Mistah Fab is a big supporter, Snoop Dogg has vibed with her and now Drake is singing her praises.
The Young Money rapper called into DJ Green Lantern's Invasion Radio recently while Kreayshawn was a guest and talked about how he felt about her music and being in the lab mixing his newc single.
"That's my dawg you got in the studio with you right there," Drake said. "I get excited when new things happen in hip hop. When I heard 'Gucci Gucci' and I heard the flows I was excited before I even knew who she was. And to meet her and the energy that she has is just great."
After a bit of flirting Drake was out, and Kreayshawn had a big supporter in her back pocket.
