Despite a report last week that said DMX's stay in prison would be extended due to various infractions, the rapper walked out of jail a free man today.
Dark Man had been locked up since December 2010 for probation violations stemming from failed drug tests.
The rapper will now look to get his life back on track. X has enjoyed success as both an actor and rapper in the past. According to reports he is looking at label offers and possible tv deals.
“Our goal is to keep DMX on the right track, and get him back to work,” a member of DMX's inner circle told AllHipHop.
