18-year old Zachary Rapheal Torrance is sitting in Jefferson County Jail today because he's just not a smart individual.
The teenager is accused of robbing four subway restaurants because the "Jared" diet didn't work for him.

Jared Fogle became famous by starring in Subway ads describing how he achieved massive weight loss by eating at the restaurant daily.
Torrance apparently didn't have the same success and decided to exact his revenge.
"I don't know if he was kidding or not, but he said he had tried the Jared diet and it hadn't worked for him so he wanted his money back,'' Hueytown, Alabama Police Chief Hagler told AL.com
Torrance was arrested at a Walmart on Thursday, October 30, when a customer recognized him and called police. The 18-year old was seen on surveillance video committing the crimes.
"I am confident that he was the robbery in Birmingham, Midfield and Adamsville," Hagler said. "Those agencies have been contacted and will be moving forward with their investigations."
Torrance has been charged with first-degree robbery and is being held on $250,000 bail.
