Ciara is no longer pursuing the $15 million defamation lawsuit she filed against her baby's father Future.
The singer sued him in February, citing interviews and social media posts in which he criticized her.
"This bitch got control problems," Future wrote on his Twitter account January 4. "I gotta go through lawyers to see babyfuture...the fuckery for 15k a month. I jus want babyfuture that's all. I been silent for a year & a half. I ran outta patience."
TMZ reports that Ciara decided to drop the lawsuit because her career is doing so well at the moment she wouldn't be able to prove the "Turn On the Light" rapper's comments damaged her earning power
She landed a modeling gig with IMG this year and was just named a spokeswoman for Revlon.
Future's not out of the legal woods yet, because Ciara is still suing him for false light. It's similar to defamation, but does not require her to prove she's lost income as a result of him bad mouthing her.
