Chris Brown wishes that ex-girlfriend Rihanna would stop talking about how he beat her.
"I maintain my position that all of the details should remain a private matter between us," he told MTV. "I do appreciate her support and wish her the best."
His comments came after Rihanna, 21, told "Good Morning America" Friday how Brown bit her and put her in a headlock during an argument on Feb. 7. "It wasn't the same person that says 'I love you.' It was not those ... eyes," she said. "He had ... no soul in his eyes. Just blank. ...He was clearly blacked out. There was no person when I looked at him."
Brown said he's "extremely sorry. ...Abuse of any kind is always wrong. The rest I leave it to God."
