On September 7, 1996, Tupac Shakur was shot four times as he sat in the passenger seat of a BMW 750iL being driven by Death Row Records CEO, Suge Knight, on the Las Vegas strip.
The two had just watched Mike Tyson defeat Bruce Seldon by technical knockout in the first round at the MGM Grand Garden Arena.
Six days after being shot Tupac died from his wounds at the age of 25. Despite numerous leads the music icon's murder has never been solved.
Two decades later the BMW is up for auction on the memorabilia website Moments in Time. Their asking price is $1.5 million.
This is the latest item that Tupac was connected to that has been put up for sale. Over the years his jeep, handwritten letters, lyric sheets and more have been auctioned off.
