Long Island Hip Hop artist/Entrepreneur, Garc Barz has officially signed with BDL4LIFE Entertainment to distribute his debut EP “Timeless”. Over the past 10 years this young artist has been building a library of new music and killing the mixtape scene with his recent releases; “Over Your Head” and “Young&Gifted” which went bronze of Datpiff.com. Now, Garc Barz has teamed up with Record Label/Distribution Company BDL4LIFE Entertainment and is set to release his first 6 track EP on March 21st,2015 in over 1000 digital stores ! His first official video to his new single “Bandman” is set to release by the end of March.
After hearing some of Garc Barz’ recent work, The best term I could use to describe his style would be “Just Right”. His recent work has not only showcased a flow that appeals to the listeners of today, but he incorporates burst of some extremely intelligent lyrics. As we travel deeper into his new EP we start to see a lot of diversity. He is very capable of making music with an up tempo rhythm and aggressive sound, and then dial back with a track like “Timeless” which has more of a serious mood. When we asked Garc who his target audience was, he responded with “Anyone who is willing to listen”. “My goal for this EP is to show the world that I am not a one dimensional artist.” Garc Barz made it very apparent that he is not limited to one sound. Although his EP has a taste of different styles of Hip Hop, he still brings it all together and manages to keep the tape flowing nicely and creating anticipation for the next song.
We may be watching the rise of a very significant force in the Hip Hop community. The lyrical abilities of this artist cannot be questioned. When you mix this kind of lyricism with captivating instrumentals and an entrepreneurial spirit, there is no limit to the potential.
