Ice Cube, DJ Drama and DJ Drama served as hosts and judges at the final stop of Coors Light Search for the Coldest Event held at Stage 48 in New York City on Thursday (August 7th).
The contest covered eight cities, had 3,000 entries and more than 270,000 fans voted online. In the end Chicago's Mr. Hyde was crowned the Coldest MC. He was awarded $20,000.
"We saw a lot of talented MCs on this year's Search for the Coldest tour," said Ice Cube in a press release. "As an MC myself, I love seeing the next generation of hip-hop emerge, and it's great that Coors Light continues to support hip-hop."

After Bun B and Ice Cube made surprise performances of classic material. Bun B performed songs such as "Get Throwed" and "Big Pimpin" covering Pimp C's verses with the help of the crowd. He also performed "Country Shit", "Sippin on Some Sizzurp" and more. Ice Cube performed "Today Was A Good Day" and classic N.W.A. material. The final act, Big Sean, killed his set performing "Show Out", "Burn", "Guap", "Marvin Gaye and Chardonnay" and his latest hit "Beware."
