Azealia Banks has distanced herself from RZA in the wake of her altercation with Russell Crowe at a Beverly Hills hotel on Saturday, October 15.
As we previously reported, RZA brought Banks to a small party at Crowe's suite. At some point during the night Crowe forcibly removed the rapper and had hotel security escort her from the premises.
Witnesses claim Banks insulted and threatened guests prior to being thrown out of the get-together.
Banks filed a battery report against Crowe the following day, alleging the actor choked, spit on and called her a nigger.
RZA had been trying to sign the 25-year old Harlem, New York native to a recording contract. However, TMZ reports that when his reps reached out to close the deal this week, Banks made it clear that she wants nothing more to do with the Wu Tang Clan co-founder because he didn't defend her from Crowe..
Sources within RZA's camp told TMZ that Banks was the one out of line at the party and her version of events is bogus.
