A scary moment during August Alsina's concert at Monday, September 15, at Manhattan’s Irving Plaza has fans worried about his well being.

The "I Luv This" singer was performing when he suddenly passed out and fell into the crowd. TMZ reports that he appeared to be unconscious. Security rushed him backstage where they were met by paramedics.

August was later alert enough to wave to fans as he was carried out on a stretcher. His current condition is unknown.

The singer is several dates into his Testimony Live tour, which ends in Kansas on September 21.

**UPDATE** September 17

August suffered multiple seizures Monday after passing out during an NYC concert. According to TMZ, he was still in the hospital as of Tuesday night.

The only drug found in the singer's system was weed. Doctors believe the seizures were caused by dehydration and exhaustion 

We'll update his condition as more information is released.

**UPDATE** September 19

August Alsina's condition was much more serious than previously thought. The singer fell into a coma at a New York City hospital following the seizures suffered on Monday. Within the last few hours the singer posted a photo of himself in a hospital bed with a friend by his side. He updated fans on his condition and reminded them that not every day of life is promised.
