Nobody could be happier than the man who wrote the song and performed it on American Idol making it an instant viral sensation. There are two problems though. He didn't copyright the song and he isn't getting paid a dime while the song is being performed coast to coast.
TMZ is reporting the "General" has hired a lawyer hoping he can cash in before his 15 minutes of fame is up. He is even hoping Brett Favre might want to do a duet.
Here's hoping he gets his money.
