24-year old Adrien Broner isn't taking a lot of time off after losing his WBA welterweight belt to Marcos Maidana by unanimous decision in December. The previously undefeated Cincinnati boxer has exercised his rematch clause and will fight Maidana again in April.
ESPN boxing writer Dan Rafael confirmed the news from Golden Boy Promotions chief executive Richard Schaefer.
Schaefer said Maidana-Broner II could be 4/19 or 4/26 at StubHub Center in Carson, Calif., or again at Alamodome in San Antonio. #boxing

"The Problem" was knocked down twice in the first bout and was consistently hammered by hard shots from Maidana, but proved his toughness by lasting the full 12 rounds. He says the rematch will have a different outcome.
I give props when it's due and @ChinoMaidana out hustled me that night but this rematch will be different!!!!
