TMZ reports that Sheen, real name Carlos Irwin Estévez, has kept the diagnosis a secret for years.
Sheen has been a Hollywood fixture for four decades. He's starred in the classic films Wall Street and Platoon, as well as the popular television series Two and a Half Men.
