50 Cent partnered with Lou DiBella to produce the documentary Tapia. The film documents the life of the super talented and often troubled former boxing champion Johnny Tapia.
The documentary premiered at the L.A. Film Festival on June 15th.
Elie Seckbach's EsNews caught up with 50 at the premiere to talk about the project.
"It's not often you get the chance to see a person explain their journey two weeks before they pass," 50 said. "Anyone who was invested in Tapia before before he passed will be extremely entertained by it. Anyone who hasn't met him will just see a journey of someone's entire life in first person. It's really exciting."
50 also got the chance to meet boxing great Sugar Ray Leonard at the premiere.
