If Adrien Broner had called 50 Cent for advice while negotiating with Roc Nation Sports he would be signed to them.
TMZ Sports caught up with 50, who is the CEO of his own boxing agency, SMS Promotions, and asked him what he thought of Broner turning down Jay Z's offer of $40 million over five years, then telling him to "suck his dick."
"That wasn't a good idea to say that," the business mogul told TMZ Sports. "He should have took [the offer]."
As we previously reported, the boxing champion says he found the offer and the fact that Jay never talked to him personally offensive.
"The capacity of the offer was $40 million for five years and that's just bullsh*t," he told TMZ Sports. "At the end of the day I felt disrespected. If you gonna come to me and tell me I'm gonna fight two times a year, getting $8 million a year for five years straight you got me f*cked up. I'm not old. I'm scheduled to fight four times this year. Stop sending your workers to talk to me. I'm a boss and bosses talk to bosses."
