The world is anxiously awaiting the release of 50 Cent's Street King Immortal album. There is nothing the rapper would like to do more than give his fans the product, but there have been a lot of changes at Interscope and he feels they dropped the ball with his single "We Up" featuring Kendrick Lamar.

"They've had issues with the record," 50 told MTV, while speaking on "We Up." "I know it ain't my ear. Kendrick said the same thing I said when I sent it to him. 'Oh, this is a hit,' And everybody around says the same thing."

The G-Unit CEO says that everyone has to be on the same page before he releases SKI.

"I don't really need the money off of the record. I want the record to be right. I'm not doing it without a plan; I'm not putting it out like that. It's a lot of staff changes, a lot of different people moving in and moving out, so you got to kind of wait until everything's right; until it's settled in," he explained.

50 added that in the past he's had to do all of the heavy lifting on his projects.

"I've been on a team where I take the ball out and throw myself the alley-oop, and I take the ball out and shoot the three-pointer myself, and I take the ball out and I dunk the ball," he said. "But every time it's like 'come on we're on this team.' And you're all by yourself.'"
