The 2014 MTV Video Music Awards aired Sunday night, August 24th. The big winner on the evening was Beyonce. The superstar singer took home three awards, including Best Video with a Social Message for "Pretty Hurts."
Miley Cyrus won Video of the Year for "Wrecking Ball." Drake took home the award for Best Hip-Hop for "Hold On (We're Going Home."
The show also featured performances from Beyonce, Ariana Grande, Jessie J, Nicki Minaj, Usher, Maroon 5, Iggy Azalea, Rita Ora, Sam Smith and more.
