Brand Nubian emcee Lord Jamar has received criticism in recent weeks for his opinion on artists like Macklemore, Yelawolf and the direction hip hop is headed in. After Sunday night's Grammy Awards show where Kendrick Lamar's critically acclaimed Good Kid, M.A.A.D City album was shut out and Macklemore walked away with four trophies, Jamar feels vindicated.
The outspoken rapper headed to Twitter to voice his opinion.
"Watch the GESTURE Macklamore makes with his performance & you'll understand why they giving him everything," Jamar wrote. "Are we really surprised? Hate to say I TOLD U SO....but...I TOLD U SO!!! His SAME LOVE song & performance tonight is the reason he won everything. I almost gotta laugh cause it take some outrageous shit like this to cee what I'm saying. Lol. Now I ask u...WAS THAT HIP HOP???"
Tonight the message to REAL HIP HOP/RAP FANS was "WE DONT NEED U ANYMORE"

Did Kendrick win ANYTHING, or did they just want him to feel privileged he was nominated???

Then to top it all off they give ALBUM OF THE YEAR to a couple of WHITE ROBOTS from FRANCE who make BLACK MUSIC.

What's being said is "we love BLACK MUSIC just not BLACK PEOPLE"
