Mac was spoiled rotten with one brother (Von) & moved to Decatur, Ga shortly after her parents divorce. Whenever Bre-z couldn't get a hold of her diary she would express her feelings, thoughts, and opions in her songs. Meanwhile, attending Miller Grove middle school, the multi-talented young lady participated in a step team called Xi Delta Phi. She was given the line name Bre-z by her team members who said "She's cool as hell". The nickname followed her to Redan highschool, where classmates constantly made jokes about her secret admirers. From that point on she became known as Mac Bre-Z, which she now uses as her alias. Timothy Brantly convienced her to perform @ Columbia Highschool's Annuual talent show, in which she was discovered by a local promoter. Shortley after she was signed to Dee Money records & released her first single "Uh-Oh", featuring Diamond & Princess of Crime Mob. DJ Scream dropped her mixtape "Macin All The Cash" & then she hit the road. In 05' she featured on Gucci Mane's hit single "Go Head" from his Trap House album and later signed to his label "LaFlare/So Icy ent". Mac Bre-z is currently still recording & doing shows. Holding five years of history up under her belt, she's still going strong, making a house-hold name for herself with no signs of quitting. Mac has recently performed on Scream Tour ..5 w/ Yung Joc, hosted mixtapes, appeared on television shows, dvd's & all types of magazines. Mac Bre-z has collaborated with artist from Lil' Scrappy, Dem Franchize Boys, D4L, Crime Mob, Yung Joc, Gucci Mane, Maceo, Miss B, Gangsta Boo, Rasheeda, & many more.
