Montgomery, Alabama, August 14, 2018— Rubberband OG, a native of Montgomery, AL, has been shaking up the game since he signed to well-known record label Think Its A Game Records (home of YFN Lucci, Rich Homie Quan, Trinidad James, etc.) His newest mixtape out now, The Streets Need Me, hosts a number of fan favorites such as, Swim, Level Up ft. YFN Lucci, and I Wanna Know ft. Lady K.

Born on June 10th as Cortez Oates, OG has always aspired of becoming a rapper. At the tender age of thirteen and receiving a beat machine for Christmas, he knew that the music industry was something that he wanted to be tied into. Growing up with a single mother which worked numerous of jobs to make sure ends meet for him and his brother, it sparked the interest of him creating the stage name Rubberband OG.

His music has grasped the attention of a huge audience. His upcoming music gives his fans, which are mostly from Alabama, the late artist, Doe B feel.

"I ain't trying to tell you how to live your life, I'm just trying to motivate a n*gga to do right.”

 His lyrical flow gives you that “trap” feel. While reminding you why the streets need him.

He's recently just ended his Streetz Need Me tour which included cities around Alabama, Florida, and Georgia. His last stop was back home in Montgomery,AL for the third annual Summer Jam.
